Epafrodito Kechegwa
A life devoted to praise and worship
Pastor Epa, also known as Epafrodito Kechegwa, is a born-again Christian and renowned full-time Music Minister based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, known for his exceptional gift in leading and recording praise and worship music during live events.
He has become a prominent figure in the Tanzanian gospel music scene, touching the hearts of many with his uplifting and spiritually enriching ministry. His assignment is to see everyone encounter the presence of God — being saved, delivered, filled with the Holy Spirit and revived — in praise and worship, for the glory of God.
Family & Ministry
He is married to his beautiful wife, Upendo Epafrodito, and they are blessed with two children, Epafra Epafrodito and Eliora Epafrodito. Together with his wife, they are the visionary leaders of Encounter Worship Ministry (a musical ministry), and they also serve as worship pastors at their local church under the Tanzania Assemblies of God.
Education
By the grace of God, he studied a Bachelor of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at St. Augustine University of Tanzania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology at Global University USA (Dar es Salaam Campus) — studies that have been of great help to his ministry.
Across East Africa
God has opened many doors on his behalf, allowing him to minister in song at churches and major worship experience events in East African countries such as Tanzania, Kenya and Zambia.
